dpkg corrupting .list files

[MoFo]

I upgrading to the current unstable dpkg and now I can't install ANY new
packages, I get the following error:

fgets gave an empty null-terminated string from
`/var/lib/dpkg/info/tetex-base.list'

This happens to alot .list files.

Any ideas?
