Package: dpkg-dev
Version: 1.9.20
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/dpkg-source

It would be useful for dpkg-source to support absolute dirs, as shown
by the example below. At the very least it should give a meaningful
error when given one, until this is implemented.

bigloo/bigloo-2.4b[1236]$ cd ..
bigloo[1237]$ dpkg-source -b $OLDPWD
dpkg-source: building bigloo using existing bigloo_2.4b.orig.tar.gz
dpkg-source: failure: Unable to rename
bigloo_2.4b.orig.tar.gz.tmp-nest/bigloo2.4b to
bigloo_2.4b.orig.tar.gz.tmp-nest//home/dwitch/work/debian/mine/bigloo/bigloo-2.4b.orig:
