Oops, sorry about resend of bug #149753.
I had received a failure notification from my MAILER-DAEMON because
bug(1) uses the fake FQDN of my internal LAN instead of letting exim
qualify the sender's address, and thought the mail didn't make it through
(I sent it three times, so if you only got it twice, it means that
indeed I was right to resend after fixing exim's initial configuration).

Anyway. Sorry about the inconvenience, and thanks for the tip.
I'll look into aptitude...
