Package: dselect Version: 1.10.4 Severity: normal Long ago I discovered that I didn't like dselect's colors, and found that they could easily be disabled by either using the -cm option of xterm or setting TERM to xterm-mono.
That worked fine until recently. Now dselect sometimes fills the screen with garbage (like when first displaying a help screen, but it doesn't always happen). There is no garbage if color is enabled, but then I have to look at the colors. I don't know whether the bug is in dselect or in ncurses. -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Kernel Version: Linux arwen 2.4.17 #4 SMP Thu Jan 31 23:46:28 GMT 2002 i686 unknown unknown GNU/Linux Versions of the packages dselect depends on: ii libc6 2.2.5-6 GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone ii libncurses5 5.2.20020112a- Shared libraries for terminal handling ii libstdc++2.10- 2.95.4-10 The GNU stdc++ library
