Package: dpkg Version: 1.10.4 Severity: wishlist It would be useful if dpkg -l would enlarge the "Name" field sufficiently to display the longest package name in the list.
Perhaps this behavior should be selected by an option. With the current behavior, I sometimes have to enlarge my X terminal to several screen widths in order to induce a Name field wide enough to display full package names.
