OK, I didn't know that you were the maintainer of pam-apps. Presumably you have access to the package source, so you are in a position to know that pam-apps's postrm is not at fault. It is also possible that the user deleted the file himself inadvertently. It is also possible that the user purged pam-apps before installing login.
