Package: dpkg Version: 1.10.10 Severity: wishlist md5sum can take quite a while to process very large files (multi-GB). It would be useful in these cases to have an option on md5sum to display a progress indicator, showing which file it is currently processing and how much of the file has been processed. Perhaps even a time-to-completion indication.
