Hi,
    I am working on Debain distro and MYSQL Server was running on it.Problem
comes when I intsall mysql client package.Then trying to connect to server

r...@asaini:/var/run/mysqld# mysql -u root -p
Enter password:
ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

Really I messesd up after installing mysql client its failed to connect to
server .Please help me out from this.
