I want a stable release to install such things out of the box, so programs I install (relatively normal and sane ones at that) won't need tweaking in order to work. But perhaps this, strictly, isn't a bug? Since no packages from the base Skolelinux system need this? I highly suspect it needs fixing till the next version, though.
