I've made a new Skolelinux CD image, prerelease 46. It is available
from <URL:ftp://developer.skolelinux.no/skolelinux-cd/>. The image
size is 649 MiB.
Major changes since the pre
* In first stage installer (debian-installer):
+ Upgraded boot floppy to the latest version. (Petter)
* Upgraded installed kernel from 2.4.22 to 2.4.24.
* Improved detection and handling on PCMCIA / laptops.
* Corrected installation handling on locales using ISO-8859-15. (Skolelinux
bug #595.
* Security updates to: gaim (to 0.58-2.4 / DSA-434), gnupg (to 1.0.6-4woody1
/ DSA-429), perl (to 5.6.1-8.6 / DSA-431)
* I probably forgot something.
I have testet that the CD is bootable and installable using VMWare.

The following configuration for server and LTSP-server should work out
of the box:

- SMTP/IMAP over SSL

- Backup
The following services do not work as they should:
- SMB (lack LDAP authentication)
- cfengine (need host netgroups)
- SQL-server (unable to install automatically)
- Appletalk (no one has worked on it)
- Host and service monitoring. (first draft on CD)
Test it and find out more. :-)
