Some of us are also trying out http://colo.snowman.net/~sfrost/openldap2/ This is what will be put into sid after some testing. Stephen Frost is one of the co-maintainers of openldap in debian. There is a patch (or two) that fixes the problem mentioned in the bugreport above. This patch is included in the new debian-packages to come. Apt-line: deb http://colo.snowman.net/~sfrost/openldap2/ ./ (though - be aware.. there is an error in his Packages-file, so I suggest install by 'wget' and then 'dpkg -i') -- Regards Bj�rn Ove Gr�tan
