Okay, I'm not quiet sure what stockholm is talking about here, but I guess it is the fact that we have an smb.conf which assumes that we have an ldap-enabled backend. We dont :( there are three ways of dealing with it. The simple is to change sambasync to 0, by using https://tjener:10000/config.cgi?ldap-users then change Syncronize with Windows to "NO", and save The other two solutions is either to get http://developer.skolelinux.no/~finnarne/smb-tjener.conf, and save it to /etc/samba/smb.conf or to download an ldap-enabled samba and install. This is easiest done by putting deb http://ftp.skolelinux.no/skolelinux woody samba-ldap into you /etc/apt/sources.list, and then run apt-get update apt-get install samba-ldap -- Finn-Arne Johansen [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://bzz.no/
