I guess your right; it wont be put into woody, but it will at least be upgradable from some semiofficial/unofficial repository (I hope!)
Installing from a .deb is better for a debiansystem than to have to manually make sure files are replaced etc. when upgrading; and a lot easier to delete if you don't like it any more. -----Original Message----- From: Jonas Smedegaard [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, May 05, 2004 1:05 PM To: Lars ge Kamfjord Cc: Debian Edu Mailinglist Subject: Re: Mozilla again ... -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 [responding only to international list and sender] | From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Finn-Arne Johansen | Sent: Sunday, May 02, 2004 5:29 PM | To: Debian Edu Mailinglist; Diskusjonsliste for Skolelinux | Cc: Knut Yrvin; Markus Gamenius | Subject: Re: Mozilla again ... | | | On Sun, May 02, 2004 at 03:19:58PM +0200, Finn-Arne Johansen wrote: | |>I hope to bring you some updated j2re1.4 package, but will doublecheck |>that we are allowed to include it on our cd before I'll include it. |>(Or even better, could someone else, like Markus or KnutY check that |>for me) | | | As you may have noticed, I've sent a mail myself Lars ge Kamfjord wrote: | And, has anything happend?
