As you might have known, I was visiting Florence last week. I was invited by Media Innovation Unit of Firenze Tecnologia (<URL:http://www.miu-ft.org/>) on a Custom Debian Distribution (CDD) Workshop. Their main motivation seemed to be to learn more about the current status of CDD, and propose that we join efforts to improve the framework available for existing and new CDDs. They asked if we wanted to join them as partners when they applied for EU funding for a project related to this.
Based on the available information, I let them know that SLX Debian Labs are positive to such effort, and would be willing in be such partner. JFYI.
