So there _is_ a message on client side like "looking up for boot on lan"
or similar? Do the NIC LED light up? Is there any log entries
in /var/log/dhcp* or the like that shows dhcp requests? (or even in
syslog on server?) Is dhcpd and tftp daemon running on server?
Maybe you can send some log snippets.
