Package: debian-edu-config Version: 0.397 Severity: minor When installing debian-edu-config for the first time, I got two bogus messages from the package:
- Message from depmod about unresolved symbols. Is this really useful to display? - Three lines regarding some unknown ethernet/wlan interface. These are really confusing. This was the output: Setting up debian-edu-config (0.397) ... depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-686/kernel/fs/binfmt_aout.o Ignoring unknown interface eth0 wifi0=eth0 wifi0. Setting up libiodbc2 (3.52.1-2) ... I recommend getting rid of both these messages during first time installation. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages debian-edu-config depends on: ii cfengine 1.6.5-1 Tool for configuring and maintaini ii iptables 1.2.11-8 Linux kernel 2.4+ iptables adminis ii libconfig-inifiles-perl 2.38-3 Read .ini-style configuration file ii mime-support 3.28-1 MIME files 'mime.types' & 'mailcap -- debconf information: debian-edu-config/update-hostname: false -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
