was the browser actually set up in mozilla ?

After restarting the server (as I did not do before you told me so), I got webmin up in Mozilla (https://tjener.intern:10000).

1. Then I got this message when going to module webmin-ldap-user-simple:

Error - Bad Header [<date>] index.cgi: Use of unitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/share/webmin/web-lib.pl line 1785
[<date>] index.cgi: Use of unitialized value in split at /usr/share/webmin/web-lib.pl line 1880
[<date>] index.cgi: readline() on closed filehandle USERMODS at /usr/share/webmin/web-lib.pl line 3476
[<date>] index.cgi: Use of unitialized value in split at /usr/share/webmin/web-lib.pl line 1925
[<date>] index.cgi: Unable to connect to LDAP server on host "ldap": Connection refused at /usr/share/webmin/ldap-users/ldap-users.pl line 42

Did a test of the image from 2005-02-17 with a main+ws installation.

I did get a message with almost the same message, and was kind of puzzled with this. Testing furter revealed that the error was caused by a non existing eth0

This was because I did this test on a laptop, with a pcmcia nic. making sure the nic is loaded, it was rather easy to fix this.

Not sure what you did the test on.
