locking the autobuilt sarge-image to use RC3 ?

would it be an idea to lock the d-i of the autobuilt image to use the 
RC3-image. During the last week, while gluck was down, the the images 
wasn't buiding at all, since people.debian.org wasn't availible.

Do we still need to test newer things than rc3 + any udebs availble from 
sarge local on developer, or is it possible to use that instead ?
