Hi Folks,
sorry for this newbie question, but I got lost in so many raw- and iso-files at the ftp-server. And I want to get an answer soon. Therefore this posting to this list.
1.
I am looking for the newest _official_ release of debian-edu, i. e. woody-based which is officially supported.
Is
ftp://ftp.skolelinux.no/cd-woody/woody-i386-8.raw
the right URL (why only about 460 MB?) or should it
ftp://ftp.skolelinux.no/skolelinux-cd/skolelinux-i386-release-1.0r1.iso
be?
The latest stable image (woody-based) is ftp://ftp.skolelinux.no/cd-woody-test/debian-edu_woody-i386-1.0r1+di_rc2.iso
I know - It should have been moved or replaced with a better one, but I dont have the rights to do so ....
Is the raw-file an ISO image? Can I burn it without modifications to CD-ROM?
2.
I'm looking for the newest developer version of debian-edu, i. e. sarge-based. Where can I get it?
Is
ftp://ftp.skolelinux.no/cd-sarge/sarge-i386-1.raw
the right URL?
THat is the latest autobuilt image, and Yes - I think it kind of works.
The latest tested image is ftp://ftp.skolelinux.no/sarge-cd/debian-edu_sarge-i386-pr01.iso
Please read http://d.skolelinux.no/dokumentasjon/debian-edu_sarge_installation.txt before submitting bug.
