Sorry, it was not my intention to spread pessimism or annoy anyone. I am sure the people in Debian is doing their very best to release as soon as possible. I am sorry the for "sarcastic" last sentence, it was unecassery. I understand that Debian is released when it is finished, not before, not later. > > The unpredictable and not-so-frequent releases of Debian worries me. > > http://wiki.debian.net/?ReleaseProposals > > There are a lot of people with bigger brains worring about how to > fix it. Maybe I am wrong ? This will get better once Sarge arrives, but for how long ? Let us hope that it will not take another 2-3 year until the next release of Debian. By the way, the people behind Debian is doing a great job, I really admire that. It is my number #1 distro. -- Best regards Arnt Ove Gregersen "First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you.
