I've added the following lines to cf.kdm
to disable shutdown from a remote Terminal (thin client)
"/usr/bin/update-ini-file /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc 'X-*-Core' AllowShutdown None"
To allow shutdonw from a local terminal (maybe this should be allowed by root?)
"/usr/bin/update-ini-file /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc 'X-:*-Core' AllowShutdown All"
To disable the menu for shutting down when logging out of kdm
"/usr/bin/update-ini-file /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc 'General' Fifodir ''"
You may wish to run those commands on the command line on a pre PR05 (not yet
released)
