This problems are connected. Sarge version does no automount of NFS 
exports from ldap AFAIR. Did you apply the changes according to 
Finn-Arne's instructions? Please do as follows on your client:

- open an extra console (Ctrl+Alt+F2)
- log in as normal user
- ls /skole/tjener/home0/
  if this path is empty, then
  - become root (su -)
  - mount tjener:/skole/tjener/ /skole/tjener (please verify!)
  - ls /skole/tjener/home0 should now show users directories
  - try to log in with kdm again (Ctr+Alt+F7)

If this solves your problem, you just have to follow Finn-Arne's 
instructions once more (auto mount).
