Dear friends of new learning software, I just found out that the educative software suite "Le Terrier" from abuledu.org is apt-get installable from
deb http://ftp.abuledu.org/1.4/leterrier ./ After updating, you should find all available packages by searching for "abuledu". Alas, the process of translation is in a very early state. My impression is that one of the reasons is that the Tcl source code is not always anticipating internationalisation. This means: People who speak French are invited to evaluate the software - and maybe start translation (in coordination with the French Skolelinux team). People who code Tcl are invited either to port the code to Qt (-> KDE-Edu) or to find ways to make internationalisation easier.
