pr05 used 2.4-kernel by default pr06 uses 2.6
Although I use via-rhine on one of my test-machine without problem
I dont see this as a blocker for everyone, lowering severity
please test with 2.4 kernel, by isuing "linux" on the boot command line
Or you could install 2.4 afterwards from the CD
apt-get install kernel-image-2.4.27-2-386

Are you able to complete the installation, but with no network, or ??
I guess there is some other error.
Maybe our cpu/motherboard/chipset is incompatible with our default kernel.
Please test with a 2.4-kernel
