Sorry for this exaggerations > and for the (german) english. As I see it we are both a sub-project of Debian and a bunch of local (school-)political movements (with interest in coordinating those movements globally). Debian (and thus Debian-edu) is about software, so is related only to politics related to software, not that related to school economics, which very much concerns the Skolelinux movements. Hint: Notice my careful use of "Debian-edu" and "Skolelinux" above. I see them as separate things - strongly related but different! It might make sense to mandate certain commitment within Skolelinux movements. Indeed what Kurt Gramlich is telling us is actually that the german movemant has already sketched some rules for their own use and is now promoting them to the norwegian and french movements. If clearly defining the technical and political parts parts of Debian-edu/Skolelinux as separate words, I believe we loose nothing but gain in keeping clear what is aiming at adoption within Debian and what has a life of its own. - Jonas - -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist og Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ - Enden er nær: http://www.shibumi.org/eoti.htm -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFD9wkln7DbMsAkQLgRAp8kAJ4+W4Yjl5qnkUeKimm2W5akaowKAACgkVL5 QTkEbsKrJlQ75X7vOXx0pqg= =7pn3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
