Hi, of course you can, but this would not solve the situation, I suspect. There are more things needed at startup: Connetct to NFS file server e.g. Generally, you can manually call a DHCP request by #dhclient <interface> (Replace <interface> by eth0 or eth1 depending on your setup.)
