I will ask my sister to draw a picture for us. She can draw a penguin teachers with Skolelogos.
The image should be 640x400 pixels, use very few colors (not sure the limit, but the test image in usplash uses 4bit color map), and the location in pixels for the text area and progress bar need to be provided. See usplash-testcard.png in the usplash source package for an example.
