------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2006-09-12 20:35 ------- actualy dhcpd3.conf is set to symlink /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd-debian-edu.conf in a cfengine script. so no there wont be any questions asked whatsoever. and this cfengine script is not beeing executed on package upgrades afaik I know it's a problematic way to do it. but it's beeing worked on in this debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=311188 The solution is to copy your dhcp configuration into the file /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd-debian-edu.conf instead. since that's a debian-edu-config.conffile, and you'd get the expected requester if you want to overwrite or not.
