grub-install seams to have moved in the latest etch-test.
it's in /target/usr/sbin/grub-install, grub-installer expects it in
/sbin/grub-install.
workaround:
when grub have failed, go to tty2 and type
chroot /target ln -s /usr/sbin/grub-install /sbin/grub-install
then continue the installation by selecting "finishe install" in tty1
