Just to clarify: the plan is to do this for debian-edu/etch or post-etch?

We should maintain the practice of not excluding schools with no dvd-reader
and poor connections... (this could mean including a howto "setup a local
repo from CDs" or something)

That's "only" a problem for tests on real hardware, qemu/vbox emulates dvds
just fine :)
