It might be a good idea to get a better idea of how the users are using Debian edu, and how the schools interact with vendors, by asking them in a survey.
Some ideas related to this is now available from <URL:http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/UserSurvey>. Who wants to help out making such survey happen? The major part of the work is to formulate the questions. I got access to survey collecting software to handle the web form stuff, so we do not need to spend time on that.
