This will make our lenny packages break when there is version skew in libraries between lenny and sid (and there always is ). To avoid that problem, I believe we need to build our lenny packages using lenny libraries. The only alternative I see is to hook our packages into the process updating lenny in debian, making sure it refuses to update a library in debian when it will break one of our packages.
