> What about inserting it into /etc/X11/Xsession.d/? That way it is not depending on the content of the users home directories.
I tried to link the script in Xsession.d/ like that ln -s /usr/local/bin/start_ica.sh /etc/X11/Xsession.d/98strart_ica.sh and it's not executed at kde login or the envirorment variable $ESPEAKER is not ready when the script is called. > putting the Autostart subdir in the existing kde-profile instead of KDEHOME > (=.kde) should do the trick I don't know how to use kde-profile. I searched the file/directory and I found /usr/share/debian-edu-artwork/kde-profile/ I tried to add the directory Autostart inside kde-profile directory but the script does not work. I tried to create .kde dir inside kde-profile/ and put inside Autostart, but still is not working. Do I have to edit the file share/config/desktoprx ? If yes, How ?
