(I couldn't find any) In the absence of documentation Daniel has done fine reverse engineering but- 2) Are all these attributes mandatory/required/desired? If any is mandatory- 3) Why is only the upgrade an issue? Adding new users with lwat_0.18~beta-2 doesn't write any of these attributes to LDAP and since this is the official way for adding users it has to be considered too.
