This is the Lenny version of bug 1165.
KDE is still missing (as it is still KDE 3 in Lenny) an option to set a umask
mount option. Because of this the default umask of 0000 is used and all mounted
filesystems, without unix permissions, are mounted in a way that allows all
users to access the file on the mounted filesystem.
To fix this for our Lenny release a patched HAL package is needed. I will
prepare and upload a patched packaged.
