Dear list, while elimination server and network bottlenecks (Gigabit Uplink, more CPU), I started wondering if network swapping (as observed during backup) might be the clue - respectively too few RAM in 5-6 years old EPIA clients.
At http://www.ltsp.org/~sbalneav/LTSPManual.html#id2696965 I read that 128 MB RAM is recommended - does our documentation mention this as well? Will try to upgrade thin clients and possibly have a look at network swapping configuration (http://www.ltsp.org/twiki/bin/view/Ltsp/Swap). Comments & hints are welcome.
