I the made a new user to test with. But same thing happens here, so changing password is not the cause

I changed the password on my testuser and now when I do a lock session
and then go to unlock it says unlock denied. The same thing happens when
screensaver kicks in. I tried using the old password and that doesn't
work either, I have no problem logging-in however with the new password.
