Hello, in the bug report I am now replying to I was asking you to not redirect or surpress output of dpkg-divert since it makes analysing output of installation testing scripts harder. This mail is just to inform you that in my script [1] I am now analysing directly the content of the dpkg-divert database, so this is no longer relevant for me. From my side it's OK when you close, wontfix, or downgrade to wishlist (though I still think it is better style to not surpress the output of dpkg-divert without a good reason).
