Summary: Non-free firmware on the CD and DVD is not installed
                    automatically when needed
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: lenny-rc1
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: System distrubution
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Debian-installer seem to fail to look for the firmware packages in the APT
source on the DVD and CD when it looks for required firmware, and thus some
raid controllers and network cards will fail to work out of the box even if
they are working with the Debian Lenny kernel.

A workaround seem to be to copy/hardlink the firmware debs into a firmware/
subdirectory on the DVD and CD, in addition to providing it in the APT source.

This need to be implemented and tested in our debian-cd build environment.
