Petter Reinholdtsen <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Component|debian-edu-install |System distrubution --- Comment #2 from Petter Reinholdtsen <[email protected]> 2010-01-28 20:34:29 --- I found a way to avoid the message about incorrect flash version on the BBC site. If firefox is started like this GNASH_PLUGIN_DESCRIPTION="Shockwave Flash 10.0 r999" firefox the gnash plugin will report a description the BBC site understand and the flash content is started in Gnash. But the video playback do not work with the current development version of Gnash, so the page do not work yet. We could provide a Xsession.d fragment to set this environment variable globally to get Gnash to behave more like Adobe Flash. The flash on the viten.no site seem to work with the current development version of Gnash. I am not sure if providing flash working on some sites is better then providing no flash working on any sites, and welcome the discussion. The last time this was discussed, the conclusion was that it is better that some flash sites work than no flash sites. :) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.skolelinux.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
