debian-devel list thread says there is currently very bad http response...

Hint: In Debian Med an Debian Science we are maintaining such software
as prospective packages in the tasks files. There are also a few in
Debian Edu (see for instance mathematics task [1]). It might perhaps
attract people looking at the tasks pages to grab some workload and so
it is a bit more visible on what project you are working. Moving
existing WNPP bug info to the tasks files is a matter of copy-n-paste.
If somebody would like to do this and has no idea how, feel free to ask
me.

Further hint: In Debian Med and Debian Science we tend to do more and
more group maintenance for relevant packages. I would like to suggest
to establish a packaging team for those packages which are definitely
related to education and not yet maintained by a team. From my
experience this really helps enhancing the quality of those packages and
by dragging currently single maintainers into a Debian Edu packaging
team you might get more focus on Debian Edu amongst the Debian
maintainers.

Kind regards

       Andreas.
