Hi. You get this email as the upstream author of sweep. Are you aware of the Debian bugs reported against the package? The Debian package page is available from <URL: http://packages.qa.debian.org/s/sweep.html > and it include links to the bugs. One issue I care much about, is the fact Sweep do not support ALSA, PulseAudio or ESD, causing it to fail on LTSP clients (thin clients requiring network audio). Is there work being done to add support for ALSA and PulseAudio?
It would also be nice if the program is changed to use the $TMP or $TMPDIR environment variable, to make sure libpam-tmpdir work also for sweep.
