This email mean that gnash was just removed testing because of release critical bugs, which causes Debian Edu to loose our Flash plugin.
Without anyone fixing Gnash to get back into testing/squeeze, we will probably end up without having flash implementation implemented in the squeeze release. :( Anyone with time to work on this? ----- Forwarded message from Debian testing watch <[email protected]> ----- From: Debian testing watch <[email protected]> Subject: Testing removal summary 2010-08-01 (Sunday) To: [email protected] Date: Sun, 01 Aug 2010 16:39:12 +0000 List-URL: <http://lists.debian.org/debian-testing-changes/> The following source package(s) have been removed from testing: REMOVED: gnash 0.8.7-2 <http://release.debian.org/britney/hints/pkern> # 20100731 # #587967 REMOVED: mlton-cross 20100608-2 <http://release.debian.org/britney/hints/mehdi> # 2010-08-01 The following package(s) appear to have valid removal hints, but are still in testing for some reason: HINTED FOR REMOVAL: mgltools-bhtree 1.5.4.cvs.20090603-1 <http://release.debian.org/britney/hints/aba-test> HINTED FOR REMOVAL: mgltools-geomutils 1.5.4.cvs.20090603-1 <http://release.debian.org/britney/hints/aba-test> HINTED FOR REMOVAL: mgltools-gle 1.5.4.cvs.20090603-1 <http://release.debian.org/britney/hints/aba-test> HINTED FOR REMOVAL: mgltools-opengltk 1.5.4.cvs.20090603-1 <http://release.debian.org/britney/hints/aba-test> HINTED FOR REMOVAL: mgltools-pyglf 1.5.4.cvs.20090603-1 <http://release.debian.org/britney/hints/aba-test> HINTED FOR REMOVAL: mgltools-sff 1.5.4.cvs.20090603-1 <http://release.debian.org/britney/hints/aba-test> HINTED FOR REMOVAL: mgltools-utpackages 1.5.4.cvs.20090603-1 <http://release.debian.org/britney/hints/aba-test> The script that generates this mail tries to extract removal reasons from comments in the britney hint files. Those comments were not originally meant to be machine readable, so if the reason for removing your package seems to be nonsense, it is probably the reporting script that got confused. Please check the actual hints file before you complain about meaningless removals. -- This email is automatically generated once a day.
