I came up with a different idea to make the DVD work better. I reduced the priority of the gnome and lxde tasks below the language tasks, to make sure their packages are the ones pushed out of the dvd when it get full instead of the langauge specific tasks. Given our options, I beieve it is better that the default desktop setting install properly from the DVD than to fail to keep all three desktop settings on the DVD. :) > Possible packages to drop are listed at the end of > <URL:http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEdu/Status/Squeeze>. This should still be looked into, to try to fix the gnome and lxde packages on the DVD. I've also added some of the packages only installed using PXE to the package list, to get them on the DVD. This should have reduced the difference between them a bit. Happy hacking, -- Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
