the debian-edu-config package also includes an index.html file which is
translated into several languages, see
svn://svn.debian.org/svn/debian-edu/trunk/src/debian-edu-config/www/index.html
and

config/www/index.html.pt
Could you please check if creating an index.html.pt_BR would be useful too?
