We have a secure examination mode in Skolelinux-RLP, including iptables setup and namespace protection for common writable directories for each individual examinee account, delivery and collection of examination material controlled by the teacher. Because of the namespace feature, we have to use a kernel with different configuration than standard Skolelinux provides, though. The developer who has implemented this solution for Skolelinux-RLP is Martin Öhler <[email protected]>, I'll send him a CC.
