Hi, what about having either
-an installer with integrated firmware and upgraded kernel, like Kenshi Muto's one, for Debian Edu or in alternative - a single package that takes a debian system and turns it into a workstation client /roaming client so that it could be possible to first install a squeeze with upgraded kernel and then conncet to Edu? This would be VERY interesting for NEW HARDWARE. Every year we buy a stock of new Laptops for pupils and normally we are forced to use debian testing or a recent Ubuntu because of missing or to old kernel modules and firmwares.
