I've also done some testing and I'm oriented in using diskless/fat-client. Thin client are not a good computing experience, for exemple a youtube video doesn't play in an acceptable manner.
I'm intrigued by the HP t410 integrated thin clients; they will be available in europe in September. But I fear that the ARM/Cortex will be too weak, too. So I'll test them first. Otherwise I'm oriented to buy i386/atom with at least 2GB RAM and decend graphics. Why not having a fat client producer that would provide fatclient with 10 GB flashmem; in that case I would prefere them, and use standard workstation config.
