There is another problem I had to fix manually:
ldap2bind is not working.

1. $BIND_DATA is not set, so ldap2bind tries copying the generated files
to / which fails

Fix: add "BIND_DATA=/etc/bind/" to /etc/default/ldap2zone


2: the cronjob is executed as user "bind", but /etc/bind and most of its
content is owned by root and rights don't allow bind to replace files in
there,

Fix: either run cronjob by root or "chown -R /etc/bind/ bind:bind"
