I compared these with the ones included in the Squeeze DVD (not yet building Wheezy DVD, so it is harder to check those), and these are not included on the Squeeze DVD: bluefish chromium drpython escputil flashplugin-nonfree freemind gvrng ibus-anthy icedtea-plugin kdegraphics python-easygui scratch ttf-larabie-deco ttf-mscorefonts-installer vlc Can you explain why you install these packages? Which one do you recommend to install as part of the Debian Edu standard install? If no-one object, I suggest we install all of the free software packages, but thought it best to get some more background info first. :) I used this to generate the list, after sorting your list of packages into extra.txt: cut -d_ -f1 pkgdeblist-squeeze-dvd.txt |sort|comm -13 - extra.txt -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
